Children... Are they always curious?

It is about a child's curious. Children do what ever it is dangerous or not to learn about their curious reasons.

CURIOUS tells the story about a little child who is always trying to get more intelligence, more knowledge about the reality and with a big sense of curiousity. Climb a wall is not always easy...

She who measures... Looking for freedom...

Are we truly free? Are our desires our own or just a construct of the society we were born in or there is a chance to escape after all?

She who measures is an animation work designed, directed and created by Veljko Popovic, young and great animator from Croatia, who wants to make us think and get involved and reflexive about the reality we are.

Taking an amazing explication from the website Animation Blog in an article about this short film: "It is a bleak commentary on life, the more so in that it is accurate in some respects with mankind in limbo, slaves to a diet of trivia. The short is visually striking for its zombie figures and unworldly landscape, all the more so given a soundtrack that is like every junk radio show or junk ad looped to obscure thought".

Vaslav Nijinsky: the great dancer

Vaslav Nijinsky was a Russian ballet (born in Kiev, Ukraine) dancer and choreographer of Polish descent, with father and mother dancers.

Nijinsky was one of the most gifted dancers in history, and he grew to be celebrated for his virtuosity and for the depth and intensity of his characterizations. He could perform en pointe, a rare skill among male dancers at the time (Albright, 2004) and his ability to perform seemingly gravity-defying leaps was also legendary.

Nijinsky took the creative reins and choreographed ballets, which slew boundaries and stirred controversy. His most famous ballet is L'après-midi d'un faune (The Afternoon of a Faun, based on Claude Debussy's Prélude à l'après-midi d'un faune).

Christian Comte, French animator and one of the most known in Europe, makes a tribute to this famous dancer, showing us The lost film, Nijinsky as the faun in "l'après-midi d'un faune", and sharing great documentary animation in Animacam.
