Abrimos este luns de marzo con cinco novas obras de animación de diferentes técnicas, diversos argumentos e novos creadores coma experimentados directores presentando as súas obras a través da rede nesta casa da animación como é Animacam!

Juan Manuel Costa preséntanos unha historia doce e chea de folclore, sobre unha alfareira que descobre o segredo das potas da vila. Unha historia en stop-motion chea de maxia e beleza visual propia dos arxentinos, xunto cunha nova experiencia en Second Life dende a República do Congo, presentada por Teboho Edkins: Kinhasa 2.0.
Inma Carpe, gañadora da Segunda Edición en Retrospectiva pola súa obra In the winter palace, repite este ano en Animacam con outra obra na mesma categoría: Le petit chaperon rouge, xunto con outra obra de Retrospectiva como Nice day for a picnic, da belga Monika Gallab. Para rematar, a escola Gobelins presenta outra tenra historia no 2D máis tradicional: Gardien du phare (The Lighthouse keeper).

Dodudindon: primeira cortiniña de Gobelins

Na súa gaiola de ouro, entre os convidados de pluma, un paxariño e un pavo nunha granxa de cría, comeza a bailar, anunciando o comezo.

A Escola de Imaxe francesa Gobelins preséntanos unha das súas cortiniñas creadas para o Festival Internacional da Curtametraxe de Annecy. Dirixida por Lucrèce Andreae, Julien Chheng, Tracy Nowocien e Rémy Schaepman e cunha duración de 48 segundos, móstranos unha historia máxica encadrada no máis elegante e "posh" dos ambientes...

Supa Pirate Booty Hunt: o amor morde

Supa Pirate Booty Hunt narra as aventuras e desventuras do pirata Zack e a tartaruga Daniel e a súa travesía polos sete mares... Neste episodio, o capitán Zack busca embelesar a unha dama, pero a súa pescuda continuará sendo eterna...

Steven Sieders é o creador desta serie de animación amosada en internet a través das redes sociais coma Facebook e das plataformas de broadcasting coma Youtube. En menos dun minuto de duración das súas pezas conseguirá arrincarvos un sorriso!

Novas estreas en Animacam

Este venres, pechamos a semana estreando cinco novas obras de animación de diversa temática, técnica, argumento e procedencia. Aproveitamos para agradecer a todos os participantes a súa colaboración e presencia en Animacam.
A curtametraxe experimental coreana Their circunstances, a escola Gobelins presenta unha das súas cortiniñas para Annecy 2009 en Multimedia: Dodudindon, xunto coa serie animada de Steven Sieders, Supa Pirate Booty Hunt, e dúas novas obras en Retrospectiva: Things that go bump in the night dos daneses de Simulakrum e a obra en animación 3D Piscis do arxentino Juan Carlos Camardella.

Flaming Arrow de Jupiter One: dirixida por Robertas Nevecka

Nunha cidade ficticia, a banda de Jupiter One están a tocar a súa canción na azotea dun edificio de doce pisos. O corazón do cantante está roto porque a súa noiva traizoouno con outro. Agora esixe vinganza. A moza infiel vive nun edificio próximo. El trae grandes barrís de queroseno ao tellado e planea disparar frechas empapadas de queroseno en chamas contrael edificio para prenderlle lume. O vocalista de The Flaming dispara a primeira frecha. O edificio está en chamas.

Robertas Nevecka é o director deste novo videoclip da banda de rock Jupiter One, representando ao single Flaming Arrow. O novísimo animador lituano mostra así, un dominio do modelado de personaxes e da construción e movemento 3D acorde á música. Esta obra é a primeira presentada na categoría Multimedia do Festival Animacam, na cal se poden presentar todo tipo de traballos: Anuncios publicitarios, móbiles, videoxogos, cabeceiras e pilotos de televisión, videoarte e videoclips.

A cheeky and rebel girl in Hey!

Sci-Fi Fantasy journey of a little girl with a special pet friend, a huge toad. Once the girl loses her pet, which drifts in the sky in a form of a balloon, she is going throught different adventurous scenarios by chasing it.

This is a full 3D animation music video for the song 'Hey' by Eatliz Band.
Eatliz is an alternative rock band from Israel. Eatliz first appeared in the Israeli indie scene in 2002 and has played a significant role in it since. The video is incredible and amazing animation, directed by Guy Ben Shetrit.

Last films in Animacam: Hailibu dan puteri naga

This animated short tells the Mongolian folk tale of a hunter who rescues a dragon princess. Still in production, it is expected to be completed by 2011.

This is the video of the work in progress. it contains finished animation with some animatic.

Adem Mehmet Barissever features this multimedia video, after present us his Nene breshke or "mother turttle". Sea and forest, nature and the relationship between animals and people with its, it's one of the favourite themes of the Malayisian animator. This young director and producer uses Animacam as his featuring letter in the cinema scene, because it is his first animation festival!

Last films in Animacam: Cine Clube de Avanca e Filmógrafo

O Cine Clube de Avanca e Filmógrafo presentan múltiples das súas obras en Animacam:

Iconos urbáns, os signos, as frechas de tránsito, as lendas da rúa, os escenarios das cidades, o ciclo dos días, encontros inesperados, traxedias, comedias, a soidade, a amizade: todo "no baile". Esta é a temática do videoclip, At the dance, dirixido por Xabier Almeida que transmite o axetreo e rutina diaria a modo de baile!

Os irmáns Desastre atoparon unha solución para máis dun problema! Estes dous "elementos" radicalizan e exaseran as solucións para os seus "pequenos" problemas. Os debuxos de Vitor Lopes son protagonistas tamén en Living in the trees, animación que se rixe pola máxima: "Cando non hai paciencia para escoitar aos demais, nada pode pasar". Tamén nos acerca a historia de Loldini, un home canón que busca ires ata o infinito e máis alá.
E criticando a opresión chinesa contra o Tíbet, e con motivo dos Xogos Olímpicos de Beijing de 2008: 10 ways to eliminate a buddist monk, é un grupo de vídeos que mostra as diferentes formas nas que o exército chinés doblega aos monxes budistas.

Por último, Vitor Hugo nos presenta en Airport Tunnel, unha viaxe máxica a través do son da OliveTreeDance recorda a rúa coma o escenario libre de todos os artistas que embelece a nosa vida cotidiana.

Martín Cacios es un director creativo que cuenta con una amplia experiencia en stop-motion, con trabajos hechos para publicidad como director creativo en agencias de publicidad. Del mismo modo, cuenta con trabajos realizados por cuenta propia con técnicas experimentales.

Director de spots publicitarios desde 2005 y trabajando en otras obras de corto metraje, este argentino, con un gran sentido del humor, nos muestra simplemente, como un dulce osito de peluche puede ser más, o menos sensible...

Last films in Animacam: Ciudad fractura

Ciudad Fractura es una lírica del paisaje Pereirano donde sangran estructuras urbanas dominantes en la cotidianidad de la sociedad. Nos muestra la fábula de un ataque surreal a aquello que siempre nos oprime y encasilla, desde el duro y seco asfalto de los andenes hasta lo alto y casi divino paisaje celestial que se crea pintado de edificios, terrazas, ventanas y puentes.

Con éste se pretende una contemplación del panorama recorrido a diario, la reflexión acerca del papel y del diminuto tamaño que juega el citadino en un pequeño pero magnificado centro de mole y urbe que a diario gana más adictos por el amor al concreto.

Paisaje, es el término ideal para construir una mirada tranquila pero cruda hacía la Ciudad Fractura, que busca por un momento crear ganas desde el interior de cada ser la acción de fragmentar y quebrantar una conciencia dopada por las exigencias de consumo global y otras cuantas dinámicas del estilo de vida del ser actual, humano pero cegado en su hábitat.

Jorge Grajales desde Colombia presenta este video-arte multimedia en Animacam para mostrar el estilo de vida del ser humano actual, lo que le condiciona, le conturba, le atrapa, le amarga, le enloquece, le alegra... Tantas sensaciones encuadradas e inmersas en una misma persona...

315 films de 204 animadores procedentes de 61 países compiten en ANIMACAM.TV

Concluido el plazo de recepción de films, desde ayer martes 1 de septiembre y hasta el 19 de octubre comenzó la fase de votación del público mediante la emisión del voto online. Los participantes optarán a ocho premios de 2.000€ cada uno, patrocinados por TURGALICIA.

El festival presenta seis categorías a concurso en la Sección Oficial (cortometraje, spot publicitario, multimedia, preescolar, ópera prima y retrospectiva) y dos Premios Especiales (Campus Terrae - centrado en la temática social y antropológica- y Campus Aquae- para aquellas obras relacionadas con el medio ambiente-).

En esta 2ª Edición concursan 315 filmes de 204 directores procedentes de 61 países (Albania, Alemania, Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bélgica, Bielorrusia, Bolivia, Bosnia Herzegovina, Brasil, Bulgaria, Canadá, Chile, China, Colombia, Corea del Sur, Costa Rica, Croacia, Dinamarca, Ecuador, Eslovenia, Eslovaquia, España, Estados Unidos, Estonia, Filipinas, Francia, Grecia, Guatemala, Holanda, Honduras, Hong-Kong, Hungría, India, Irán, Irlanda, Israel, Italia, Japón, Lituania, Malasia, Marruecos, Méjico, Moldavia, Nigeria, Noruega, Nueva Zelanda, Pakistán, Polonia, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Reino Unido, República Checa, Rusia, Rumania, Serbia, Sudáfrica, Suiza, Taiwán, Turquía, Uzbekistán). A un año de haber nacido el Festival, esta edición duplica, prácticamente, la participación de obras a concurso con respecto a la anterior del año 2008.


Los autores de las animaciones presentadas conforman un amplio y diverso arco de edades y trayectorias profesionales: desde nuevos realizadores que están dando sus primeros pasos en el mundo de la animación, pasando por consagrados profesionales de la industria mundial hasta veteranos en activo de Centroeuropa (Octavian Frecea -Rumania-, Artan Maku –Albania-) y América (Álvaro Bautista -Colombia-); o un histórico de la animación cubana (Hernán Henríquez- cofundador del ICAIC -) que presentó gran parte de su obra. Así mismo, el Festival cuenta con la participación de alumnos de prestigiosas escuelas de formación de animación de Europa y América (ESMA School- Francia-, ECAM- España -, Vancouver Animation School- Canadá- , etc.)

Las temáticas de los films a concurso fueron también variadas y plurales: la guerra, las relaciones de familia y pareja, el mundo del arte, la violencia, la infancia, el racismo, los conflictos étnico-territoriales, la censura, entre otras.

La presencia de mujeres animadoras participantes en esta Edición ha sido verdaderamente notoria: mientras que en 2008 la representación femenina se había limitado a cinco animadoras, en esta Segunda Edición son más de treinta las autoras que han presentado sus obras como Spéla Cadez desde Eslovenia, la danesa Inma Carpe, la autora novel hindú Kaukab Basheer o la experimentada Maribel Martínez Galindo de Televisa México.

Ivan Ramadan brings the real ilussion of 3D to our lifes

Ivan Ramadan was born in 1985 in Croatia and currently studies architecture in Sarajevo. He has experience in 3-D animation from previous projects like advertisements, intro sequences for TV shows and has created the animated trailer for the feature film BIRDS LIKE US. TOLERANTIA is his first independent short film. Now, he features two animation works in Animacam! Tolerantia and the trailer of his new creation: Kimayet.

Tolerantia is 6 minute short animated film. It is the first 3D animated short film produced in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was directed and produced by Ivan Ramadan independently. The film is about intolerance between people.

The film has been awarded with "Heart of Sarajevo" award for the best short film at 14th Sarajevo Film Festival. It has won the Prix UIP award which automatically nominated the film for 2008 European Film Academy Awards.The film has been screened as part of official selection of about 30 festivals around the world so far.

Tolerantia synopsis: After a long sleep, the hero of this story – a Bosnian – awakes and starts building a wonder. His reasoning is not something you should be jealous of, but he is not very different from you, either. You share some things with him, deep inside…

Are conflict and intolerance essential to human nature? Have they been always there and will never go away? The director, in any case, believes so.

In adittion, Ivan Ramadan give us an advance or his new art work: Kimayer trailer. A rainy day, a jumping building on the sky, turning and turning... looking for land somewhere... What amazing story is waiting for us?

Looking for the beauty of the sea and their criatures, mixing an amazing scenary with a quiet, slow and nice music, trying to show and share with everyone calm, peace, relax... The famous song "Le Carnaval des animaux" creates the perfect symbiosis with the image and the view of Aquarium

Blood and thunder! Full of colour and motion

Tobias Stretch is one of the most famous surrealist animators and audiovisual creators that usually works for multimedia productions (music video, videogames headers...) One of his lastest creations is Blood and thunder, a music video for the song of Matthias Sturm, that we can see the mixing between very different colours- the fosforite green appears inside a blue and yellow scenary where a tiger and a baby are the starrings.

Using Antoin Arnaud text, Tobias Stretch share with us in his Vimeo channel:
" A CINEMA WHICH IS STUDDED WITH DREAMS, AND WHICH GIVES YOU THE PHYSICAL SENSATION OF PURE LIFE, FINDS ITS TRIUMPH IN THE MOST EXCESSIVE SORT OF HUMOR. DIE MOFFELS. Watch out!! Your teeth are in danger!!!

Lucy has a loose tooth and is supposed to go to the dentist tomorrow. She’s veryscared of going. The Moffels don’t understand what should be so bad about going there. Lucy can’t really explain why either, since she’s never been there.

When Lucy accidentally mixes up her wish-rhyme they land with a BANG right in Dr. Tick’s dentist’s office. Panini sits expectantly in the dental chair and ‘Dr. Lucy’ can begin with her work, polishing Panini’s teeth which will soon be gleaming again. Suddenly she notices her loose tooth isn’t there anymore. It must have fallen out by itself.

Winner at the China International Cartoon & Animation Festival,
Hangzhou 2009, this amazing animation from Germany was created by Digitrick and directed by Sabrina Warnie, a veteran and clever animator who was featured this Serie in several festivals and markets.
