It's not funny, it's art!

Blanca adores art. Which is a problem, because Blanca doesn’t understand the first thing about it.

It's not funny, it's art! her father says to Blanca, because she's always laughing in front of pictures and escultures. She doesn't understand art, so, she decides to make everything that she is seeing and imitate the other followers of art galleries. Suddenly, the story turns to a bad line, but maybe she can change and fix her problems...

Job Roggeveen (1979), Joris Oprins (1980) en Marieke Blaauw (1979), more popular meet as Job,Joris and Marieke, all studied at the Design Academy in Eindhoven, The Netherlands.

In 2003 they founded Job, Joris & Marieke, a studio for animation, illustration, character design and graphic design. Job, Joris & Marieke works on commissioned work and independent animation films.
Their short animations show a special liking for ironic endings. Their commissioned work consists of tv-commercials, bumpers, leaders and music videos with an emphasis on character animation. Before create the funny story of Blanca and her art, they worked in other animated works such as Wad, Unbelievable?. A visit to the Cargoship, Moi and after them, they created The Tumblies, a pilot childrens series.
